'A few weeks ago the children read 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and wrote letters to the Giant apologising for stealing his hen that lays golden eggs. The Giant came into the classroom during the weekend and thought the children had done such a great job that he left them some broad beans so that they could grow more beanstalks.
Here is the result after a few weeks.

Wow!!!! Room 1 your beans are growing really well. It must have been a super friendly giant to leave you some seeds. I'd like to se a picture of the beanstalks when they are fully grown.
