We spent three sessions with Constable Hayden learning all about road safety and car safety. We learnt that we should always sit in the back and we should be sitting on a booster seat wearing our seatbelt because seatbelts save lives! It's important to stop and check for cars at sneaky driveways so that we don't get runover. We must always walk on the footpath by the houses so that we are as far away from the road as possible. It's even better if we hold an adults hand while we're walking. It's super important to be quiet and sensible when we're in the car too so that we don't distract the driver.
We did a lot of great learning with Constable Hayden and showed this through the posters we made.
Thank you Constable Hadyen for making us safer!!
