The yellow-eyed penguin is grey and blue with a white belly and pink feet and a yellow headband. The yellow-eyed penguins babies are brown and fluffy. They yellow-eyed penguins babies look like kiwis when they are born. The yellow-eyed penguin lives on land by the sea. It eats small to medium sized fish. The mother penguin puts fish in her gullet to feed her babies. The yellow-eyed penguin has enemies like stoats, seals, dogs and wild cats. The Hoiho is not extinct yet. The mother and the dad take turns to stand on the egg. The yellow-eyed penguin makes a lot of noises. It can live up to twenty years. The yellow-eyed penguin is an endangered species like the kiwi. I'm glad that they're not extinct.
