Written Language

In writing we are learning to write letters through learning about Fairy Tales.

We each wrote a letter to the Giant from Jack (or ourselves) to say sorry to him for stealing his hen that lays golden eggs.

Although publishing doesn't always directly relate to the children's individual learning intentions, it helps them to learn about copying carefully, being neat with their work and presenting work nicely.

We created two beanstalks with our apology letters.  Don't they look great.
